Fighting in the trenches of the Web

We foresee a Coming Tug of War on the Internet. A fight in the trenches towards cyber crime or even worse, a cyber war fare between nations or regimes. We have seen national, regional and global spread of activities on the internet that can be described as terror attacks if they were physical attack. It’s like shooting with a pistol with a silencer in the end. The shot is fired, it’s deadly and kills, but no one heard from whom or where it came from. What kind of threats do we see on the internet today, and what can we expect to see in the near to mid term future? We will try to dwell some words on Cyber Warfare and then look into some of the attacks known up till today, and then we will leave it to the reader to judge whether we are seeing the start of cyber warfare or is it under control?
