From The Editor:
Did you know the tallest and oldest saguaros grow as high as 50 feet, weigh seven tons, and live more than 150 years? Some may sprout more than 25 “arms.” Quite an impressive sight! With spring in full swing, our household is bursting with activity: soccer practice, swim lessons, play dates at the park. How great it would be—like the saguaro cactus—to have those 25 arms! A big Happy Mother’s Day to all the multi-tasking moms out there, who get the job done with just two.
This month’s issue of Stories for Children is packed with poems, crafts, and fun stories—several of them highlighting those moms we love so dearly. Enjoy!
