"Trashtown is far from trash!" Just finished reading the hardcover with my 8 yr. old son and we loved it! What a great book... beginning, middle and end. Very creative writing from the author, who really gets you hooked right from the beginning. We couldn't put it down. My son's favorite character was Polly, mine of course was Chip. This is a great book to read along with your kids, or one that they can easily read on their own. I often found myself cheating and reading ahead prior to reading with my son. It truly is a fun, exciting, and imaginative story. The only problem we encountered was when we were were finished, we wanted more... Hopefully this was the first of many adventures that takes place in Trashtown. Bravo!

"THIS BOOK IS MY FAVORITE BOOK I HAVE EVER READ" This exquisite novel is extremely significant in compare to all the other books I have read in my entire life. It covers all conflicts in a child's pre-teen years. Trashtown, By Stuart Rotman includes self-esteem progression, bullying, friendship, trust, and many more. Adding to the amazing moral of this story, the plot line is outstanding. The conflict is clear and stands out, unlike anything I have ever read before. I am hoping to see some more books coming from Stuart and I am sure his next book will be even BETTER if possible. ~MB~

"What a fun read!" Just finished reading "Trashtown" to my 7 year old daughter and we both loved it. It was a great read with really fun, adventurous and amusing characters. We both loved "Polly Pop" and especially liked how the town got saved. We would tell you but we don't want to spoil it for you! If your child likes adventure and laughs then he or she would love 'Trashtown"!!
