What a lovely read. This book is great company for someone going through not just the Menopause but any stressful time in their lives. Sue lets us realise that we are never alone in our troubled state and that as human beings we can all feel the same. She then goes about explaining how we can help ourselves to a remedy. She nurtures our journey. She understands the affect of this journey on the people around us. She asks us to question ourselves along the way reinforcing our understanding. More than anything Sue has inspired me to take on my life again. Not a mean feat. Thank you.

This book continues to enable me to connect with my femininity ; or perhaps I should say to reconnect, as it is something I've tried to deny or suppress for most of my life (through anorexia and not having had children). The book affirms the feminine and since reading it I've allowed my periods to return through weight gain. The author is very self accepting and courageous and her own story encourages me ; it is as if my body itself has received her message because my periods flow now, whereas before there was resistance ; I am sure the message is being 'heard' at a cellular level ; I am very grateful to Susan for writing this book ... thankyou!

What a lovely, warm-hearted book. For anybody looking to understand more about the menopause, but also to feel understood whilst going through it… this is the workbook for you. It's easily accessible, friendly tone makes it a quick, comforting read for anybody who is struggling with their hormones, particularly those affected by the menopause. It's not full of science, nor is it necessarily based on much more than the author's own opinion, but she's experienced an awful lot and remains a beacon of hope to anybody suffering. Thank you to Susan for writing this book and sharing her very personal experiences, with the aim of helping others.

This book is big on heart and exposes parts of the perimenopause and menopausal years with touching insights and compassion. It is also lovely to hold and read and easy to carry in a purse for quick reflection time for busy women. I consider it unique in its simplicity and direct approach to issues many women face. I am happy to include it in our Menopause Self Care library.

My mum wrote this book and i cant tell you how proud i am. The menopause was tough for mum like it is for many other women and for her to come out the other side and write this to help others well what can i say she is AMAZIING! This book can help all not just women going the the 'change' but it highlights many issues and speaks on many methods that we all forget in our daily life. We all run around being hectic and forget the simple things which we all must have to be healthy in body and in mind. Worth a read for everyone! x
