The differences of American and Japanese Animation's Soundtracks

ByTaweechok Kaewkam

Everything that moves is said to have animation. More specifically, things are animated because they possess life. Because all films show movement, it is technically true to say that all films are in fact animated; however, when a filmmaker uses the word 'animation,' he or she intends for the audience to understand it in a very literal sense. Animation is a film made by hand, frame by frame providing an illusion of movement, which has not been directly recorded in the conventional photographic sense. This will show the differences in term of the use of music soundtrack and sound design between American and Japanese.
