This is a book for all ages. Children will love the poetic legend, adults will see into the heart of humankind. Like "Gulliver's Travels," it is a book written on many levels, all of which will speak to the heart of the reader.
I could not put this wonderful,intriguing and heartwarming book down the first time I read it,and will read it over and over. The story, the words themselves resonate deep in the most primal cells of one's body and resound in the collective unconscious. I will forever treasure it and will read it to my children's children, as it is for the young and old alike. I highly recommend it.
