The life and times of a group of men and women born with extraordinary powers trying to survive in a hostile world. The universe is full of people who in ancient times worshiped them as gods, goddesses and superheroes but now hunts them down as menaces to ordinary human society. From werewolves, ghouls, zombies and vampires to genetically enhanced supermen and superwomen, along with mythological and prehistorical entities, they're all here to share their stories with you. This anthology explores just how hard it is to be a nonhuman in a world of mundane humans. Above else, it's a chronicle of the dilemma faced by superhumans, posthumans, prehumans and nonhumans alike when hunted down by the very people they once protected.
