"Where are all the aliens?" Goes where no book has gone before. In it you will not find any equations, but you will find scientific answers to questions such as "What is life?" "Where is life likely to be found in the Solar System?" "Are there planets suitable for life outside the Solar System?" "How do you find planets that are suitable for life outside the Solar System?" "What exoplanets have already been found?" and "Where does the Human Race go in the future?" We don't promise that after reading this book you will know everything about astrobiology, but, you will certainly be able to hold your own when the after dinner conversations turns to extraterrestrials.

"Entertaining and thought provoking - a great read!" I would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone. An informative volume that actually manages to be very funny, not a mean feat for such a weighty topic. I found myself having to explain to my husband what I had found so funny when I laughed at some particularly witty remarks. Somehow the authors have managed to make this subject very accessible - you don't have to have a degree in astro-biology to understand what they are going on about. I can guarantee you will enjoy reading this and finish it more knowledgable than when you started.

"Informative and Accessible" The authors bring a complex subject alive in a readily digested 'conversational' style that allows even those amongst us with little knowledge of how our solar system works to access the content. It is impossible to read this book and not feel better informed. Notwithstanding the easy access form the book does examine a serious subject in a logical and analytical way that leads naturally to the conclusion. You may not want to agree with this conclusion but you certainly can't fault the argument. A first work that is bound to soon become more widely read.
