Presented in clear and accessible language with wonderfully supportive graphics, Roberts offers the reader a voyage through the development of human knowledge. He then examines the outstanding mysteries of modern physics, the phenomena that lie outside the borders of our current understanding and suggests that the next step in our intellectual journey is to treat the vacuum of space as a superfluid composed of interactive quanta. With this proposition Roberts imbues the vacuum with fractal geometry and opens the door to explaining the mysteries of physics geometrically. Roberts' model has been praised for offering an intuitively accessible picture of eleven dimensions and for powerfully extending the insight of general relativity, while offering us access to the underlying deterministic dynamics of quantum mechanics. That remarkably simple picture explains the mysteries of modern physics in a way that is fully commensurate with Einstein's intuition and generates several testable... More > predictions.< Less

Sep 5, 2015Thad Roberts provides with Einstein's Intuition the missing dots - and connects them with Einstein's General Relativity & Quantum Mechanics to one beautifully intuitive big picture. As this is the theory with the least amount of assumptions to date I found, I think we have here one of the strongest contenders for a unifying theory of everything. And as it is so elegant in its simplicity, it will be easily & quickly falsified, if wrong. As a step-by-step introduction into QST and to learn to visualize the 9 spacial (and the two time) dimensions, I suggest to start with the following clips. If you enjoy these clips, you will love the book. Now I can teach most people to think in 11 dimensions within 15 - 20min. Something I always thought would be reserved for geniuses like Stephen Hawking. Join the ride on einsteinsintuition dot com and search for "Conversations" part 1 & 2. In my opinion one of the strongest hints that we have a solid theory suggested in... More > "Einstein's Intuition" are the constant's of nature that are following as a compulsory derivative of the Quantum Space Theory. I found as well a good clip on that on the website... I've never read a book three times before - and I'm certainly going to enjoy it a fourth time, as each time I discover new gems and get a deeper understanding of how everything is connected. A must read for almost everybody from about 12 - 99! :-))< Less
Sep 4, 2015Anyone who is interested in the nature of physical reality will find this tome fascinating (and anyone who is not interested in the nature of physical reality will certainly develop such an interest after being exposed to the mind-expanding concepts this book presents). Roberts has taken a multitude of complex, relatively obtuse, theoretical aspects of quantum-scale reality and has, almost miraculously, developed a technique that allows us non-geniuses to comprehend and even visualize the most intimate inner workings of the universe. And in the process of presenting these usually obscure facets of existence, he humanizes and enriches the experience by exploring the historical research that has led to these ideas, and he weaves into the fabric of the book personal anecdotes that help illustrate, among other things, how our innate curiosity can lead to scientific discovery. One can only stand in awe of both the intricate elegance of these theories and of the tremendous talent that has... More > brought them to us.< Less
