For the sake of full disclosure, I will divulge being one of this issue's contributing writers after also having been included in Shawn and Dagny's inaugural issue. Still, my point of pride comes from the "company I am able to keep" as much as seeing my work in print. For their third issue, the focus was on the number three; however, I'll avoid all the obvious punch lines and puns. This volume, trimmed and focused, is a superlative collection of poetry, visual art, and prose from people far and wide. Since my focus with Borfski Press has been prose, that is what I focused on with my initial reading, and it has been a fun ride. Take Hong Kong writer Dimple Shah, whose "Conjugation" focuses on worries past, future, and present, delivering a knockout punch with the sentence "I will dread the day when I cannot remember my name." And right before that, enjoy Steve Sibra's ride with a three-legged hitch-hiking canine. The poetry here also shines, especially... Another fine collection from Borfski here, making this a volume that welcomes return readings. And more than three times. . .< Less
