"Good Start" Just got my copy. Maybe its just me, but the printing seems off. I don't know if its the printers or the pdf, but I think it could have gone better. Part of the problem is that things aren't dark enough. There are a lot of pages where I see grey, when it should be black. GKaiser didn't have this problem and imho is the best story in the book, mostly the funny stuff (I laughed out loud a few times) :D I wonder what dpi lulu prints the interior at because it seems like the preview is much better than the printed work. Maybe next time try doing the greys in monotones like they do in newspapers, Lulu's printers don't seem to do grays very well when doing black and white printing, or it could be the pdf dpi was too low. The artwork of Jen Brooks looks great in the preview, very shiny, but it looks uneven when printed. The comic Stealth has a lot of pages that are blurry, most likely stemming from a bad scan of the image. Also nearly every panel and image... More > (notable exception GKaiser) is too close to the spine, so it is very difficult to read dialogue and see the entire panels. I know I'm being very harsh here, on something that isn't professional, but I'm trying to be honest and give my gut reaction to the book. I'm sure that with the next issue things will get better. I'd love to contribute to a Comics Rampage! issue, as soon as I get more time. I know it took a lot of work from people to get this published and it shows.< Less

"Re: A Review" Hi, this is Chris C. (creator of Albino Woodchuck). I just ordered a copy of the first issue and i'm excited to read the other 3 stories. There's one thing I just wanted to address about Chris Scott's review of the book. I know everything he said was meant to be complimentary about my story, and I appreciate that very much, but there are parts of Albino Woodchuck that are absolutely meant to be taken seriously. The reader can interpret the story however they please, but I just don't want my story to be billed as a comedy or a parody when thats not what I intended it to be. Not a huge deal, just felt I should say something. Please buy the book and read for yourself!

"A Review" I can completely and unbiasdly say that this comic mag is the greatest thing ever. Well...maybe not as great as Watchmen. Y'know...actually there are some comics on Lulu that are better than it. But anyways... Being the guy the does Assassin Assassin, I can't review my own stuff (the front cover rocks my socks heheheh). But the other 3 comics in here are good stuff. GKaiser is a crazy parody comic about a wierd kid who accidently gets called off to another world. Stealth is what super hero comics should be more like. Characters with personalities and some cool stuff going on behind the scenes. Albino Woodchuck has to be our 'alternative' comic. It's crazy. It's not meant to be taken seriously, and it's downright funny. And Assassin Assassin has corney dialogue. And bad spellingz. -Chris Scott (aka The Guy who Slapped This Book Together)
