A very thought provoking and emotional read..can relate to this book on a personal level having experienced certain issues. You can really pick up on the feelings and emotions of the verbal villian and how he overcomes his tears and fears through rap

An amazing book, so different to anything I have read, provoking, daring and aggressive. You feel the kids pain then realise his strength and the wordplay in this book is out the park, both in the first person tense and the raps he writes. Strong language but totally justified as he tell's his tale of tough times. The final chapter takes you right to that stage he is stood on. The Verbal Villain is an anti-hero for the youth and he ain't gonna be stopped from what I can see.
