This is more of an update from the author and artist. I found it very important in this day and age that the amount of homeless in America is at record highs. This is not an accomplishment America should be proud of. I did the first print Homeless in America back in the 80's when in the city's throughout America saw cardboard cities around the country. Here in 2018 we are seeing these tent cities exploding especially in climates like California. These new paintings are hopefully opening up the publics eyes to this growing environment. I have recently applied for a billboard program to try and get this paintings message across to many people who choose to ignore this human catastrophe. Most of these tent and homeless cities are due to Americans who are unable to afford even housing. Homeless shelters are busting at the seams and this artist finds that with all the spending waste in America that this type of conditions exist. We cannot fix all the wrongs around the world but we should... More > be concentrating on the homeland. If we fix our own backyard we then will be in a better position to help the world by letting these foreign governments see how it is done.< Less
