There are many ways and means to study ordinary archeological sites. But megaliths present problems that continue to mystify despite the academic general dismissal of them as either 'tombs' or 'sacrificial primitive pagan' sites. Mr. Sheridan brings the skills and astute perceptions he has shown in his other works to what he is most genetically/geographically suited. A combination of occult, mythological, historical, social, artistic/creative preparations... to present a visionary coherent theory of Druid culture. A very interesting and engaging read, much in keeping with his Fortean practices and....as I'm sure he would humbly accept as a homage to... the style of Colin Wilson.
