"Kilo Sierra ******" The author brings to life a world known by only a small percentage of men and women who were a part of this fascinating time in history. The antidotal humor keeps you reading through even the toughest chapters, some filled with vivid descriptions of death and the hardships that war and deployments have on relationships. I suggest this book for all who want to experience a just a little bit of Navy life, aboard and ashore, during the Vietnam War.

"Kilo Sierra" A great read! It is a thoroughly enjoyable evocation of the U.S. Navy's air warfare operations in Viet Nam in the early '70s. Terlizzi aaccurately depicts the lives and times of our carrier warriors, good times and bad, in a way that brings back bittersweet memories and opens a window for readers who have not seen much literature in this genre. Aviation personnel who lived through this era should read this book, and then pass it on to their children. - Ernie Leard, CDR, USN, Ret.

"Kilo Sierra" A great read! The author weaves an action packed yarn around aircraft carrier operations during the final stages of the Vietnam War. He accurately portrays and describes the physical and emotional environment of Navy carrier based squadron personnel at war and play. His description of aerial combat and carrier flight operations may cause palms to sweat. His stories of the time spent relaxing ashore in the Philippines, Hong Kong, etc., may bring joyous tears of remembrance to those who were there and laughter to those who weren’t. His focus on the personal life of his characters, their honor, love, and sacrifice, will remind some of why they serve and lift the spirit of others. Though names are changed, it is obvious to anyone who served with the author that the deployment he writes about is the one they were on. The general events are only fictionalized versions of the real deal. I know, because I was there. The phrase, "Kilo Sierra" is an...
