Few books make me laugh out loud but 'The Chimp Who Loved Me' did just that. There were also a few sad parts but animal lovers will know that living with our furry friends brings both joy and heartache. Many of the vignettes were about exotic animals and I found these to be very enlightening and interesting. After completing the book, my first inclination was wanting to spend a few days with the author and all the zany characters on her farm. The only thing I didn't like was that the book ended all too soon. Let's hope a sequel is in the making.
I read this book from cover to cover and I loved it all. It is funny and naughty in a healthy way. The book makes you laugh and sometimes cry with the stories. I believe that everyone should read the book expecting to enjoy something different and new. Every chapter gives you something unexpected that will make you want to read more and more, reason why I read the book in one sitting on a plane :-) It really made my flight home a lot more enjoyable.
