Howard’s Search for a Home: An Underwater Adventure of a Moray Eel uses vibrant underwater pictures for the younger child’s visual aesthetics, a simple humorous story line for young readers, and incorporates an educational aspect of each species encountered to promote ocean animal appreciation and learning. The book may also be a good avenue for children to open a dialog with adults around understanding retirement. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Mystic Aquarium’s volunteer SCUBA program (for cleaning and maintenance), research, and stranding programs.

"A Wonderful Book!" This is a wonderful book full of sarcastic humor, great information, and beautiful underwater photos! Both my kids and I love this book. I actually loved this book so much that I interviewed Dr. Watson for SCUBASave.com. He's is a entertaining personality and has a heart of pure gold. If you want to learn more about Dr. Watson, please listen to our interview, which is available here: http://www.scubasave.com/news/2009/04/interview-with-tim-watson-author-of-howards-search-for-a-home/ -Kris
"Howard Searches for a Home" As a 35 year veteran teacher, award winning educational journalist, and popular author of two books, I highly recommend this outstanding book for children, not only for the story line and learning content, but for the artistic and nature value of the beautiful photography. The depth and detail for discussion with your child or with a classroom of students ranges far beyond the normal textbook and average lesson.
"Fun & Fabulous" I really love this book! The photos are really great and unlike what you normally get in kids books. It is not only a fun story...but you actually learn fun facts as you go. The dark background behind the photos gives an added sense of being underwater with Howard.
