The church has long held to certain qualifications for coming to the Lord's Table. Sadly, in our post-denominational day, these have either been ignored or rejected. This may have tremendous impact upon our congregations, as discipline is relaxed and unworthy partakers are judged.
The primary purpose of the book is to outline the qualifications with the hope of restoring the biblical and historical truth about the proper communicants of the Lord's Table.
In considering these qualifications, it addresses a number of corollary issues, such as church membership, closed-communion, infant communion, and private communion.
