Follow Up Review - I have owned a copy for several years. As most books, once read they sit on self gathering dust. Recently, flying in a friends e90 we had a minor pressuration problem that they had trouble shot for years. A quick check in Tom's book immediately identified problem that could be fixed by pilot procedure.. Because of this, I purchased PDF version for my ipad. During a propeller upgrade this week, How pilot could check for proper rigging was the question. After reviewing pg 203 with the mechanic we test flew and quickly identified needed adjustments. The mechanic comments when we landed sums it up, "this was the most through test flight ever". Last night I re-read book. It is amazing what I forgot. Recommendation, buy PDF version and read on long flights.

After having looked out and evaluated numerous planes in person, and settling for a King Air, this book is the consummate written experience. This man was virtually there when they built them and knows all the intricacies of each model. Caution and beware for it is only for those with a true passion for knowing all the nuts and bolts of these planes.

This is really a great publication. Learn all the details that the factory and most training providers forget to tell you. It covers the systems and techniques from a different and much more interesting viewpoint.

Only problem with book was I could not put book down until 2:30am the day it came in. Seriously, this book is a must for King Air pilots. A better title for the book would be "The King Air Bible". The techniques discussed will definitely save on repairs and help make you a safer pilot. If you fly a King Air, don't think about getting this book, get the book. You will not be sorry.

An absolute must read for any pilot. Tom's fun and relaxed approach to writing and instruction is second to none! I encourage any pilot at any level, flying any type of aircraft to read this book over and over again.

This book has proven extremely valuable as I progress in my flying. There is value for pilots of all experience levels and not only for King Air pilots, but for any pilot looking to improve their skills, or just blow some time reading about airplanes.
