This is the second book I've read in this set of three. The author has done a great job of keeping it exciting and yet keeping out sex and cursing etc. The plot is running in line with what the Bible says will happen in Revelations (not exactly the way Tom puts it, but none of us know exactly how that will happen)Many things are revealed in this last book about the twins and makes things clearer to there abilities and how they got them. The towns come together to help each other out and defeat the evil that is present at the time. Even though it may not have been his intent to show, but the theme of love your family and friends comes thru all the way to the end. How caring about people makes life better. Also how God has gotten them thru what has happened. This is a set of books that I will have my children and grandchildren read and not worry about content. Looking forward to reading more books by this author.

I recently read "Trouble in High Places" by Pastor Tom Colburn. It is a great story, with a taut, fast-paced plot and compelling characters. There is enough talk about faith to keep it inspirational, without slowing down the action. Very family friendly. I didn't realize that I was purchasing the third book in a series called "The Mortonville Mysteries." I will now have to make it a point to order "Shattered Window" and "Target of the Fire" as well.
