Stagger

Stagger is a novel of modern relationship paradigms and working-class social realism. To fiancée Linda, Dave Martin is a vulnerable stonemason still much in need of weekly counselling. To those at the London building site where he works Scopes, as he’s affectionately known, is a stoic friend. Scargs, an obese Northern rogue; Gerry, a recovering alcoholic; Punch, a family man with a chequered past; and lonely romantic Ash are the friends that join Dave on his Brighton stag party, the south coast providing each character the freedom to shed the monotony of their mundane lives and the space to escape their personal problems.
