SongBook, 1969-2018

Songs 1969-2018 is a collection of original songs, penned during those decades, coil-bound to sit on a music stand. As with the other volumes in this Mind Stream series, going over these songs was a nostalgic experience. Early days in Milwaukee, dropping out of Art School to pursue an independent path, first songs, learning to notate, to play guitar, traveling in Europe, North Africa, crossing the Atlantic to Venezuela, the Caribbean and Mexico, hitching north to Northern Michigan, painting independently, working on a B.S., Grad school MFA at MSU and the move to Atlanta, laboring here to the present, archiving the media of painting, drawing, free form writing and, in this Volume, Songwriting.
