By Amy This was a very inspiring and sweet book that teaches one how to deal with complicated and overwhelming feelings. Spring awakens ones feelings and it is an appropriate time for such a book. It advocates helping people who are not well and encourages them to heal through meditation. It's easy to follow and I feel it can help many.

This is one of the most accessible offerings I know for the journey of becoming a more peaceful and loving presence in this world. Not only is the journey into meditation presented in a clear and simple manner, but personal stories from the author's own experiences are told with sincerity and humility, along with just the right touch of humor for putting the reader at ease and gently allowing for what may feel like one's imperfections along the way. Tom's invitation to companion anyone interested in taking this journey is beautifully offered! Thank you, Tom!

This book does a great job at providing one with skills to be the best person you can be. Tom provides the reader with solutions to get rid of toxic emotions. When those negative emotions are replaced with positive ones, then you are able to live in peace, love, and happiness. As a cancer patient myself, I have found Tom's book and cd to be very helpful!!!!!

I found the book spiritually uplifting and inspiring. The clear sentence structure and examples make it easy to read. The concept of "be here now" was a recurrent theme and very helpful to me. The chapters about how to connect with people who were ill were again sensitive and useful. We are all on this journey together.

So many shy away from the seriously ill out of uncertainty and fear, often times unintentionally isolating even those closest to our hearts. Tom addresses this highly sensitive and woefully little understood issue with a true teacher’s ability to impart understanding, compassion and effective techniques for self reflection & lasting behavioral change. Chapter One’s discussion of Total Compassion had personal meaning as it helped me better understand my own journey through the disease progression and eventual death from cancer of my former boss - she was not only a role model but a great mentor and wonderful friend. Our Two Gardens touches the soul in a way that we may otherwise never explore. Thank you, Tom!
