"Sailing with the Stars" The descriptions of the story probably tell the reader all he or she needs to know, without spoiling the plot, but there are two points worth mentioning. The chapter on the loss at sea of a crew member, and the difficulties of coping with this type of emergency on a square-rigger, is based on an actual accurance. When you read this, remember the safety precautions to avert such a tragedy. The other point, is that some think having a Knights Templar in the plot, is a bit whimsical, but remember that as portrayed in the book, the sister organisation, The Knights of St John, whilst never a secret society, came to fame in Jerusalem, and are still very much alive to-day, particularly in Malta. If you live in the UK, you might have noted, that at your local football match, the ambulance personnel often wear uniforms with the Knights insignia, the Cross Pattee.
