United States and Canada are virtually one country when it comes to the job search. Some enlightened people should get rid of all those rules about Canadians and Americans working in each others' countries. It's just a money boom for lawyers and the government departments that collect visa fees. Books about Canadian jobs are at #331.123-129 or HD5728 and HF5382 at the library. American job websites often cover Canadian job ads. This is the most indepth Canadian job book I've ever seen so it is the big job book for Canada. If you want more information in some fields, get the other relevant books I've created like the medical or law ones. Human Resources Development Canada/ Hrdc is the federal government's employment and unemployment office. You go there to try to find a job, get trained for a job and to fill out the paperwork to apply for unemployment benefits. They have counselors and databases available for free to help you find a job regardless of your profession.
