This book is a collection of student work done through Mississippi State University's School of Architecture and the Carl Small Town Center. The work's focus is on the master planing and rebuilding of Smithville Mississippi after the town was devastated in April of 2011 by and F5 tornado. It is important to understand not only the needs of a town directly after a disaster, but to understand problems that may have existed prior to a disaster. This book covers work that focuses on not only how to revive Smtihville, but how to continue its growth into the future.
