"Wonderful storytelling of history" You don't need fiction when you have history, as it often is more strange than fiction. Tracy's book about the sad fires that wiped out the churches of Fond du Lac is very well researched and well discussed. It reads like a novel. If anyone is looking for something with great insight into the pioneer years of fire-fighting this is a great book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.
