YOU = LOVE is a book about love and love power. An underground favorite and art world best-seller, it gets children of all ages excited about their innate ability to heal, inspire, and create. Visionary author Tricia Klinkhamer realized the need to spread the YOU = LOVE message after she witnessed the 9/11 attacks while living in New York City. As founder of the nonprofit YOU = LOVE, Klinkhamer sends stickers and art bearing that simple-yet-profound message to tens of thousands of children all over the world. She wrote this nurturing text to communicate the same truth in an expanded and accessible form. Painter Dean Anthony Cercone Jr., a rising sensation known for his stunning live-painting performances and dream-like depictions of human tenderness, created the stirring illustrations.
In keeping with the mission of YOU=LOVE, the book (originally written in English) is available in a wide array of translations.

This is hands-down the best children’s book I’ve ever read and my all-time favorite. I first found YOU=LOVE at the Wherehouse art studio and gallery on Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I was immediately gripped by the book’s simple yet oh-so-true and oh-so-necessary message and deeply touched by the illustrations. Even though I’ve learned the book’s central lesson before through personal experience and through more complex teachings like A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson, I still benefit immensely from hearing it put simple and straight: “The world around you is filled with love vibrations. Love takes away all separation! Your love is the vibration that attracts others to you!” This message is the same one offered by saints and sages throughout time--- it’s also one that I so easily forget when I get caught up in the mundane and stressful details of life. The tone of the text is prophetic, certain, and relentlessly optimistic. It’s a little like the text on a bottle of... More > Dr. Bronner’s soap, but its message is simpler and more sane. I love that the author, Tricia Klinkhamer, has set out to change the world in an unabashedly earnest way. Her utter confidence and joy in the truth she offers is uplifting. Dean Cercone’s illustrations balance out the certainty of the text with their gentleness and wavy psychedelic whimsy. A few minutes spent reading the book and enjoying its pictures relaxes me and opens up my heart. It makes me take myself less seriously and get really interested in thinking about what I can do today to express my love. I start to feel expansive and mellow. I can’t wait to share this book with the children in my life, as it puts so directly and eloquently something which I truly want them to learn: “You are the You in You=Love!” Some children’s books are amusing; some are cute; this one is illuminating, energizing--- and frankly—beautiful. I ordered two copies of this wonderful little book: one for me and one for my nephew. The tagline says it all: "You=Love is a book about love and love power." And by the time my nephew is old enough to read, the message conveyed through this book will be easy for him to comprehend. In the meantime, though, I'm certain that he will be fascinated by Dean Cercone's beautiful artwork. Powerful and inspiring! I'm looking forward to seeing what else Ms. Klinkhamer will produce in the future.
