I've been a fan of werewolf fiction for a very long time, though there was a point where my interest in the under appreciated genre was waning. The Lcyanthrope Club completely reinvigorated my interest for werewolves by reminding my just why I like them so much. It focuses on all the qualities I appreciate most in any good werewolf fiction, that being the psychological transformation a character afflicted with lycanthropy goes through and the changes it has on their life. There's no age old war between werewolves and vampires, and the fate of the world doesn't somehow hinge on a teenage romance in this book. It's simply a story about a girl dealing with a transitional phase of in life, and that phase just so happens to be of the supernatural variety. Being a reader of earlier drafts of this story and its unpublished sequels, I can vouch that this book is the product of a lot of time and thought. It's been thoroughly improved upon, and the final result is an enjoyable story that I... More > strongly believe any fan of supernatural literature will love. If you like werewolves or just supernatural fiction in general, then give this a try!< Less
