Natural Transitioning™ was founded by Tristan and Sicily Skye and is what they label the process of transitioning from female to male (FTM) by raising the testosterone levels your body naturally produces, without injecting testosterone or other methods. This book contains years of research on the 3-step NT plan: supplements, diet and weight training. Whether your a pre-T trans guy or simply looking for an alternative, this is the book for you!
This book has been reviewed and approved by several doctors, one having their own chapter in the book. I certainly would not write a book on something that is not safe.
This is really bad advice. Please do not read this and try it. Be smart and go to a doctor if you are attempting transition. A real doctor will tell you that if you want to actually transition, taking testosterone is safer.
I thought this book DID have a lot of research in it both medically and through his personal experience. Tristan says he is not a doctor so I don't know why some reviews act like this should be some medical book. They say this is an alternative and typically used to help give you a start before T...or for some guys (like me) who can't do T because of health reasons. I went to my doctor and he approved NT for me and without this...I freaking want to die because I wouldn't be able to do anything to feel like I'm moving forward! I know I'm not alone and I see Tristan's results and other guy's results and it's good enough for me. I think this book was really great...it hit everything and I heard they are coming out with a second edition to answer all the questions that have come up since the release of the book. I dunno..I don't think people should knock this, but that's just me.
I'd never read it. It says years of research, indicating some kind of authority level, and people who have read and reviewed says it's lacking information or at beginner level. Supplements, diet and weight training make women bodybuilders, who are straight, bulk up and change, why would this make you an FTM? (as in FTM alternative)
I like this book. I keep re-reading it. I guess if you want a more detailed book this isn't it. I think its more of a "beginners" context. Like 'ConnorDickface' says it is medically lacking knowledge. There's still a lot of my questions unanswered and this book doesn't give all the answers, but it's a good start of me. Anyways Thanks Tristan and and Sicily, this book has gotten me started on my transitioning road :)
