Medusa, synonymous with the word monster, is one of three Gorgons who possess the power to petrify any living creature. With bronze claws, a mane of venomous snakes and deadly eyes that can snatch the life from anyone who look upon her, Medusa was ancient Greece's weapon of mass destruction. Mythology briefly told the story of the life, plight and death of the Gorgon. However, it was a partial account of a being that lived over three thousand years ago. In truth, Medusa is alive today, in the 21st century! From the shadows of obscurity, she has risen to assume the guise of Madame Cynthia Petrakis, reclusive billionaire, philanthropist and humanitarian. One person, archaeologist Jerimiah Clarke, unwittingly stumbled upon her secret. It was a discovery that nearly ended in tragedy, yet became the foundation of a new and true friendship. Few know of Medusa's story and now she has decided to reveal it to one man. This is Herstory!

Having read and throughly enjoyed this tale in hard cop I was thrilled to have it in the e-format. The author has created a truly modern and complex rendition of the character know to all of us as Medusa. The mixture of conflict and humor put an edge to the reading that will keep you engaged page after page.

I have always been a fan of Greek mythology and no other story fascinated me more than the story of Perseus and Andromeda. I always wondered about Medusa, and how she was a victim that was forced to become a monster. This story delves into her mind and heart. The story is so poignant. I highly recommend it and I can't wait for the next book!

I am not a big fan of fiction, but I have to say after reading The Gorgon Medusa I had a change of heart. The story plot was well thought- out, very visual and riveting. You can actually visualize Medusa and her sisters in some of their fighting scenes in your minds eye. If you are looking for a good summer read, I suggest you try this book.
