Animatrix: The Graduate Animation Journal (Volume 20) 2013
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Edited by Valerie Giuili and Kelly Lake. This edition of Animatrix is dedicated to the future of animation and is a reflection of a changing society. Often, suppositions on what the future might bring conjure up wild ideas that inaccurately reflect our fate. The “retro-futurism” movement of the 50s’ and
60s’ was quite successful in developing imagery for this concept, and we have included artwork in this edition to reflect the spirit of optimism and over-the-top marketing associated with that time. Animatrix is the only published graduate student journal about animation. It is produced entirely by the students of the UCLA's Animation MFA program.
