Hello. I am the author. I understand that my book has provoked a lot of strong reactions from some. I'm pleased it has. Rather that, than hide away in the shadows with nothing to say. I agree there are a couple of typos which are being amended. However, it does not detract from the story. I'm afraid that I disagree with the idea that even nasty bosses deserve some privacy! But in answer to that, well I did change all names and in the grand scheme of things I'm not sure anyone would have a clue who these people are anyway, so not sure why anyone felt the need to say that! What is important is that I wanted to share my experiences. I also do truly believe in championing the underdog. If people were a little kinder to others in this world, then perhaps people like me wouldn't feel the need to write a book. However, I did write a book and that is the end. If you really want to have a proper conversation with me then please, feel free to reveal yourself without hiding behind a moniker. I'd... More > be more than happy to chat. As for anyone else, the book will be available as a hard copy very soon. Thanks to everyone who has bought the book so far!< Less

Review of this 'book' in the times today by Sathnam Sanghera. Absolutely bang on. More 'rant' than 'book'. Don't get me wrong I have no patience for people who behave like the characters portrayed in the book but the author has behaved in such an ethically abhorrent way neglecting the basic right to privacy that, yes, even nasty bosses are entitled to. Also, the writing is so sloppy. One minute D&D Associates, then D&D Communications (to name but one of the catalogue of inconsistencies). If you actually want to be an author, you need to proof read your work, dear. The hilarious thing is the author clearly believes she's some kind of champion of the underdog. Err...maybe the problem is you, love! PS. the 5 star reviews below are both by people with the surname Knowles. Classic.

This is such a good read. If you've ever worked anywhere you don't even have to have experienced what the subject in the book has to really relate to the story. The author has such as great way with words and really brings it all to life. I'd recommend The PA to anyone. Definitely an Xmas present for all my PA friends!
