After years of waiting for his destiny to show up, Henry Potty is finally accepted into Chickenfeet Academy, an American school for gizzards and whiches that proudly flaunts its third-rate status. Henry, equipped with his fan club, a blinding conscience and an unshakable belief that his own star-of-book-status will save the day, goes head to head with his archnemesis Lord Revolting, who has a strange affinity for garbage. Frankel weaves a tale which instead of following the Harry Potter saga religiously, cheerfully plunges readers into new territory, as we are introduced to Henry’s fairy godmother, a sport where players snatch fishes out of a river, and the little red-haired girl, a member of Henry’s fan club who he constantly pines for.
