(from French: mémoire: memoria, meaning memory or reminiscence), is a literary genre, forming a subclass of autobiography – although the terms ‘memoir’ and ‘autobiography’ are almost interchangeable.
Essentially, a memoir is writing that captures the real or non-fictionalised spirit of what has happened to the writer and / or the writer’s family, friends or associates.
This issue of Skive Magazine contains 160 pages of amazing memoirs by 31 Authors from around the world.
