Este vocabulario bilingüe contiene muchos de los vocablos principales del idioma zapoteco del Istmos (Juchitán, Istmo de Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, México). The entries in both the Zapotec–Spanish and Spanish–Zapotec sections include translation equivalents with different senses and subentries for derived forms.
