Apr 16, 2009"I could not put it down." I am a huge fan of Vicki Williamson's. I have read all five of her books and it is so difficult to choose a favorite. Mrs. Williamson is a rare writer that put me right into the lives of her character's. When I read any of her books, I never feel like I'm reading "just" another book, she has placed me right into the story. The detail and dialogue is so real that I find myself wondering what the characters are doing even weeks after finishing the book. It's so amazing how Mrs. Williamson can write about character's that you can relate to and may even know from school or work. They are normal people trying to cope with normal and REAL issues. I'm so very proud that there are a couple author's out there that I am happy to share the books I read with my teenage daughter. The messages in her stories are lessons that I have tried to share with my daughter, but usually fall short. Mrs. Williamson has managed to pass on the lessons that I have... More > been unable to explain in a way that my teenager can understand and appreciate. I'm thrilled to say that my daughter has shared Mrs. Williamson's books with many of her friends. Not one of them has ever had anything but great things to say about the books and I think that is terriffic! Please keep writing so we can keep reading and sharing your wonderful works of art. I thank God for author's like you.< Less
Mar 10, 2009"Awesome book!" This is Mrs. Williamson's fifth book, and having read all of them I can say that without question this is her very best work! This book is absolutely enjoyable, providing an interesting and relaxing read! There is so much contained in the pages of this most thought-provoking story, from humor to heart, and I found myself so caught up in it that it was hard to put it down! The main characters, Luke and Julie, are so well-written that I feel like I now know them personally! The paths that their lives take as they explore the many "matters of the heart" make wonderfully compelling reading as you eagerly journey through the pages. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian romance. You won't be disappointed!
