The 18th century Scottish dirk with its carved interlace grip is a recognisable piece often worn with historical and traditional Scottish attire. The online tutorial that we created many years ago on how we carve Scottish dirks continues to draw so much interest that we felt the need to do a more in-depth book documenting the subject. This photobook will show the methods and tools that we use to carve and mount dirk grips. It documents the project with 184 photos.
