"Wax Vainglorious -- The Collected Works " Wax Vainglorius The Collected Works of li’l boy and Josephine’s baby boy Volume 1; Envisioned by Vince Vanguard Vainglorious Vince Rogers ISBN 978-0-615-25689-4 Lulu.com Vince Rogers’ characters speak volumes and not in the usual way that personalities speak to us via the author. In this collection of short stories and poetic pieces each and every one of them is real. Now a working girl, Li’l fast tail Tamika Scott, Principal Hampton & Damon work a dynamic far from the classroom in “What’s In the Blood…” Tut in “Scratchin’ and Survivin” (parts one and two) had “heard that word “Man” almost from the day he was born. He heard it as soon as he could cry and long before he could talk. Certainly before he could pee straight. Definitely before he knew what it meant to be “A Man”.” It’s not clear who’s doing who in the opening piece “This Girl I’m Fuckin’” but it’s an experience we could all do with at some point and most certainly... More > more than once. This is a collection of compelling works and exceptional individual “voices” and we can only hope that there will be a Volume II to follow. Nola Summers< Less
"Waxing Vainglorious" Vince Rogers’ WV offers the reader an authentic view of 21st century relationships through a cultural prism reflecting a variety of issues and musings of one not afraid to ask the unusual questions. His answers are sometimes humorous or startling in their truth, and rarely fail to invoke thought. BJ Greene
