"Lewis on Lewis" This is probably Vin Lewis' most 'shocking' book. C.S.Lewis is hailed in most every catholic circle as "The Good Protestant". I read many of C.S.'s books and was very intrigued to see Vin Lewis on the attack of this good, non- anti catholic protestant. Surely Vin has gone too far this time.... Let me say only that Vin Lewis uses the same straight line logic and principles as he does everywhere else. One ruler, straight and narrow, to measure us all. Even 'good protestants' On my own, I always thought, "Why did he never convert?" Thank God for the likes of Vin who follows his thoughts further than I ever did. Excellent and thought provoking. Alex

"I was scared to read this!" C.S. Lewis is so well recieved by so many that I jumped on the bandwagon also in reading him and enjoying his books. Yet I always wondered why did he not convert, similar to the previous review, and I never had a satisfactory answer. Being scared though is no excuse for not evaluating and examining your beliefs or presenting what is truth and what isn't. Reading this book I clearly see a different C.S. Lewis now as I decided to look a little more objectively. I hesitate to be exactly as harsh as Vin, but not too much as I would guess more that C.S. was more cowardly and soft in his approach to the truth than just evil. Take a look for yourself and then see if you see C.S. Lewis a little differently.
