Archers Young homosexual lovers see themselves in a painting at the National Gallery, ‘The Archers’, eighteenth century brothers. Dreams take one of the lovers into the past. He lives an imaginary life of those young men, not as brothers, but lovers. One a young lord another a young priest. The young lord deposes his father, who wastes the estate and torments the people. Love starts with the shot of an arrow that wounds the future love. The young lord and his priest runs the castle, the land, with benevolent care. They also rescue escapees of the French Revolution’s guillotine. But they refuse to put up with unfair behaviour from the aristocrat. Back in the present the dream influences love and life in the boatyard that the lovers run.
