The Western Slope from the late 1800's was set with an influx of settlers looking to homestead. From one side we had the Turners settling and being "monumental" in getting the orchard industry in the going. The Turners and Alexanders married and settled in the North Fork Valley, Cedaredge, Delta, The Grand Mesa including Alexander Lake and Lodge.
William Spencer of Jamestown, Captain William Cockerham and his wife Anne Spencer, and the Lee's who settled in Kremling. They all came together on the Western Slope and laid out a grand history for our family!
Growing Up Kremling is just a small part of that.
