Here you will find a collection of short stories and poems. ‘A Foxhole Boy,’ ‘Those Doggone Days’ and ‘Shoni Shuffle’ reflect my childhood. Tales from my sea going days as in ‘The Relief’ and ‘San Fernando’ and I see the latter as ‘graphic’ rather than pornographic in intent! ‘Flakey Blakey’ is set in the Mumbles then we move on to ‘Slippage’ and ‘Weaponry’ which are both a bit tongue in cheek attempts to parody the style of current authors, although the reader will probably fail to recognise them? ‘Incident At The Abbey Works’ recalls my time as a steel erector and ‘Don’t Mention The Scharnhorst’ tries to portray that strange phenomenon among British males whereby they transfer emotion to happenings outside of their immediate family. ‘Shark Heart’ is a description of the first shark I saw caught in the Red Sea while ‘Reaching...
