This story is an interesting combination of cyborg creatures resembling mythical creatures and a setting in a future earth where integrity is hard to find and must be discovered by the most unusual person of all. Ancrom is one of these half-machine half-animalian weapons, and along with his brothers and sisters, is used for destruction and terror before Ancrom realizes that something is simply upside-down about what he and his siblings are doing. That's when things start to get interesting. The author has produced a very well-thought out world in concern to technological aspects, settings, and character development. The main characters, the Dragons, provide the reader with a variety of views that both entertain and inform the reader about the moral of the story. There are a few slow parts in the first parts of the book, as well as near the end, but overall the story has set a good pace. There were a few twists that caught me by surprise and were tied well into the rest of the story....
