The Walpole Writers Group has been meeting on Tuesday nights at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in Walpole, Massachusetts, for more than five years. Members of all ages and from all walks of life share their writing, suggestions, and encouragement.
All genres of writing – including poetry, novels, short stories, memoirs, historical fiction, essays, non-fiction articles, and even tax advice handouts – appear at the meetings, which makes for an exciting and unpredictable mix each week. Surrounded by published books, the writers strive to write better, get published, and help each other.
The contributions to this volume are typical of what members read each week. You may not have heard of the authors of this imaginative and well-written work, but you'll find great writing here. Enjoy!

"An Excellent Read" I should point out that I'm one of the authors that contributed to this book, but that said, there really is some fine work here. I just read through the book recently and was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed it.
" BOOK" Excellent Book, I must recuse myself from this effort,although my friends and family say I'm O.K. I hnow the writers, and I say very sincerely, they are wonderfull, excellent writers. I guarantee everyone that reads it will agree.
