Sundown Ranches, Aripine Arizona

The purpose of this book about Sundown Ranch is to keep alive the memories of that remarkable place not only for those of us who lived there, but for others who only felt of its mystique through stories and pictures. The book is divided into four parts: An historical introduction followed by pictures of the ranch as a working cattle unit as well as a Boys’ Ranch. The next portion contains pictures of family and fi nally concludes with other writings. We relied heavily on the journals and albums of Wilma Fillerup Turley. The picture captions in quotation marks, as well as portions of the script, are taken from Wilma’s own words.
