"Royal Sand ******* 5 stars" From London to Paris, the French Riviera and Arabia, the plot and characters are woven together with artful craftsmanship by the author. Set in a fascinating time and place, the story is topical and reminds us of the political uncertainties of our time. Bravo to a great story teller.

"Royal Sand by Wharton Shober" Shober's novel is exciting and kept me at the edge of my set. I appreciated the growth in Zacharias. I look forward to the next chapter in this character's life. I hope Mr. Shober keeps writing!

"Royal Sand by Wharton Shober" This is an accomplished work because of the balance of character development; the author's obvious knowledge of missle systems, lock picking and other specific complexities in the story; the plot going at a clip and surprises at every turn. It is hard to believe that this is Shober's first book. It is masterfully executed. His material on Saudi Arabia and their paternal relationship with other Middle Eastern Countries is excellent and to be taken as real: well earned knowledge. It is a great read!
