Illustrators respond to Hurricane Katrina. Contains 32 original works by illustration students and faculty of the Maryland Institute College of Art [MICA] in Baltimore. Originally created for The Ripple Effect initiative for artists and designers devastated by the Hurricane, these illustrations respond to the our fellow artists needs with empathy and hope. Works were sold as prints, originals were sold at auction, all were part of a multi-media backdrop for The Ripple Effect fundraiser/Mardi Gras celebration held February 28, 2006 at the Society of Illustrators of New York.
