Do you like Wil Wheaton? His early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Stand by Me came out in '86, I think he really came into his own, commercially and artistically. The whole film has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the acting a big boost. He's been compared to Fred Savage, but I think Wil has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In '87-94, Wil appeared in, Star Trek: The Next Generation, his most accomplished role. I think his undisputed masterpiece is "Datalore", an episode so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the storyline. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the actor itself.

I read this, and it changed my life. This book is heavily underpriced. Wil, thanks for making it affordable for the common people that need it.
