A Sea of Grace Revised

This is a different Sea of Grace. In its first form the book was a diary of sorts, a year long collection of poems and photographs. It still is. But pleased with the layout of the recent Sweet Content, I decided to reedit A Sea of Grace. I’m in good company. Walt Whitman did the same with Leaves of Grass. Others have, redone, as well. So I threw out half the photographs and half the poems of Sea of Grace and replaced them with what I thought was better (and usually happier) work. The period now covered is broader than the original and the tone was especially helped by the poems written in the last several months. Trips outside the low country are included. But still the physical and emotional center of the book is my home of McClellanville, S.C. and the surrounding nature preserves. That said, I hope you find here at least a notion of centeredness, a calming, a steadying glimpse of God’s endless Sea of Grace.
